I always come to Chai Hojai. The experience is always amazing with food. Unfortunately this time I ordered Karachi Chaat and it just doesn't taste right. It is just plain layers of biscuits, and greek yogurt. It doesn't taste like chaat at all. I think the restaurant needs to redo the recipe for it.

We really enjoyed our visit to Chai Ho Jai! The club sandwich was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Their homemade potato chips were crispy and perfectly seasoned a great addition to the meal. One of the things we appreciated most is that the food is halal, which made our experience even better. Great food, friendly atmosphere, and quality ingredients. We will definitely be coming back!

I wanted a chai tea latte, but they didn't have one. So i had a dirty chai latte, which was good. I had something that was like ice cream with noodles, yummy. The ambiance is nice. Service was slow, but I wasn't in a hurry. I've deducted 2 stars because the restroom was very dirty. I trained in food service years ago, and my teacher said that you can judge the cleanliness of a restaurant by how they keep their restroom. Also, when I go to a "Tea Room," I'd like real cups (versus plastic-lined paper cups) and actual silverware (versus plastic spoons etc). The earth is smothered by plastic. I wish this restaurant well, but it's just not for me.

Such an amazing experience at chai ho jaye! Everything had so much flavor and freshness! The Desi omelette and lachadar paratha with malai was insane!! Definitely get the halwa puri. Comparably much better than the lombard Desi breakfast options!

Update - April 11, 2026 Sometimes I guess they are out of gluten free roti’s, so as I learned today, call first 😢 Update - October 5th, 2025 We ended up at Chai Ho Jai again today. I think I am getting addicted to this place! 😊 Just could not wait to dive into desi keema omelette with gluten-free roti. Freshly prepared served hot! This time we tried Mumbai cutting chai pot, ginger added to karak chai- awesome! Added another pic today. Thank you to all the staff! —————————— Wow, what a find! One of the VERY FEW DESI places where they serve Gluten Free roti’s upon request with their omelette, rolls, paninis etc. We had a regular lachha paratha that comes with malai and honey, and desi keema omelette with gluten free roti… and chai teapot! We ate to our hearts delight… and initially we were thinking about quick in and out with chai only! 😊 Will definitely visit again and recommend. Come early for brunch, you will not regret it. Waiting for them to open up in Lombard. Thank you Bilal for everything.
